Abstract
The publication known as Tempered Steel is an annual magazine published every spring semester featuring the creative writings of Colorado State University of Pueblo students as well as the region a large. This publication is might to showcase fiction, poetry, creative nonfiction, and other genres and according to the official link on the University's website is meant to reflect the community's unique history and region. Tempered Steel was once titled 'The Hungry Eye,' published in the Department of English and Foreign Languages.
