Abstract

On 11 October 2023 Daryl Vigil donated a vinyl record of the song “Yo Soy Chicano” by Juanita Dominguez and a CSU Pueblo art exhibit program regarding the artist Mildred Monteverde.  The art exhibit was entitled, “Chicano Graficos..California.”

Scope and Contents of the Materials

This collection is part of the Colorado Chicano Movement Archives and Collections. Which was a fairly important series of activist issues that impacted the Chicano and Hispanic communities in the State of Colorado in the 20th century. The exhibition was pertaining to the Chicano Movement and culture and the song pertains to Chicano culture.
