Abstract
The colleciton contains books, various editons of Life magazine, posters, framed items and artifacts.
Scope and Contents of the Materials
This collection contains materials regarding Puebloan Lorenzo J. Montoya. From his life in the lower part of Pueblo, CO (Bessemer) to his time as a solider during the Vietnam War. He collected various publications related to the Vietnam War which included a publication of LIFE magazine and a book entitled, "Vietnam: 1967 U.S. NAvel Mobile Construction Battalion Severnty-One. This colleciton includes a photograph of Montoya infront of the ship "Rosewell Victory", a Naval Seebees duffle bag with Montoya's stationed history. Lastly, this collection contains photographs and letters of Montoya throughout his life, along with a poster entitled "Project Adelante El Movimimento Panel Discussion." Date range is 1961 to 2008.
