Sponsored by Colorado State University-Pueblo, the Society of Interdisciplinary Study of Social Imagery (SISSI) was established in 1991 and ended with its 25th anniversary meeting in 2015. This annual conference addressed the influence of imagery in social life with a different thematic focus each year. Proceedings were published from papers presented at the conference.
