Collection Overview
Abstract
The records contain various materials throughout the years showcasing the history of the music department while the school was named Pueblo Junior College, Southern Colorado State College, University of Southern Colorado, and the Colorado State University Pueblo. The Music Department Records cover the time period from 1948 to 2001.
Scope and Contents of the Materials
The collection consists of programs, photographs and recordings of various musical ensembles. Specifically, these materials include concert programs for the University's past as well as from the Colorado Music Fest from the 1990s and early 2000s. The records include tape reels that showcases different musical events and albums dating back to the 1960s-1970s as well as one VHS tape from 1995. Lastly, the records contains photographs of different musicians and musical groups as well as two photo albums from the 1940s to the 1960s.
