Abstract

This collection consists of materials relating to Chairman Mao Zedong and the Chinese Cultural Revolution collected over a period of many years by Professor Beatrice Spade, Chinese and Japanese historian, Colorado State University-Pueblo.

Scope and Contents of the Materials

Mao Zedong was the leader of the Chinese Communist Party and Chairman of the Peoples’ Republic during the Cultural Revolution. The collection consists of posters and artwork, books, artifacts and other assorted memorabilia relating to Chairman Mao Zedong and the Chinese Cultural Revolution, 1950s-2000s. The items were collected over a period of many years by the late Professor Beatrice Spade, Colorado State University-Pueblo.
