Great mentor, great leader, great commander, great helmsman.” Page 4: “Navigation depends on helmsman; revolution depends on Chairman Mao.” “Great Chairman Mao and Lin Biao stand together, Lin Biao who is Mao’s close friend and comrade- in-arms.” “The East is red: The East is red, since the sun rises. There is a Mao Zedong in China; he makes a living for people, so he is people’s savior.” “Navigation depends on helmsman: Navigation depends on helmsman; Plants grow up relying on sun; Revolution depends on Chairman Mao.” “Fish can’t live without water; people can’t carry out revolution without Chairman Mao. Mao’s thought likes the sun!” “Chairman Mao will never die: Dear Chairman Mao is the sun in our heart. We want to say something to you. We hope you will never die!” Page 2: “Using Mao Zedong’s thought to unify the things.” “Chairman Mao’s latest direction: To clean up the class rank, first, we need to hurry up; second, we need to pay more attention to policy.” “For the counterrevolution and the people who make mistakes, we should pay attention to the policy. We should educate them rather than attack them. Everything needs evidence, confession by torture is not allowed. For good persons, when they make mistakes, they should be educated; after they know their mistake, we should liberate them.” “After leading by great Chairman Mao, seven hundreds millions of Chinese people are very happy and exciting.” “At the beginning of the year in 1969, we hope our great leader Chairman Mao can live longer and never die.” “The proletarian culture revolution affects people in an unprecedented way. It already gets the victory. The twelfth plenary session is expanded by the party’s eighth, the people decided that Liu Shaoqi would expel from the Chinese Party in the twelfth plenary session. The working class and the poor peasants ascended the upper political stage. The spirit that comes from the proletarian culture revolution already has the good result. Industrial and agriculture production is increasing, socialism is developing. Our party will become pure and strong. Our proletariat will become more stable. Our socialist country will become stronger.” “Recently, our country exploded a hydrogen bomb successfully, and we have a new thermonuclear experiment. These are the results of the proletarian culture revolution. It is a symbol that the nuclear weapon steps up a new field in our country, which can strike America and the Soviet Union.” “All of the great victory is the victory of Mao’s thought. It’s also the victory of the proletarian revolution. The victory is the result of people understanding Mao’s thought deeply.” “1969, is very important year of Chinese revolution and world revolution. 1969, Chinese communist party will convene the Ninth National Congress. 1969, people will finish the task that was came up with during the Twelfth Plenary Session. 1969, we will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the founding the People’s Republic of China.” “In order to finish the great and difficult task, the basic problem is that we should use Mao’s thought to control all the things. All communists, all the people should learn Mao’s thought, using it to unite our thinking and action. We should learn democratic centralism and love Chairman Mao, and Lin Biao. When we working, we should use the method that Chairman Mao taught us, which comes from people, and goes back to people; concentrating our power and insisting to do revolution. Insisting overcome all tendency which violate Mao’s thought.”<p style="margin-left:1.25in;"> “Our great Chairman Mao told us, without the democracy, there is no accurate concentrating. Since people have different thinking, so the centralism can’t be built up. What is centralism, first people should have the similar thinking; make sure unifying the thinking, unifying the political, unifying the command, unifying the action.” “Vice Chairman Lin Biao said that, our country is a great proletarian and socialism country. Seven hundred million people should have a uniform thinking of revolution, the uniform thinking is Mao’s thought. Having this thought, people can have a correct way.” “Using Mao’s thought unify all kind of things. Leaders should learn Mao’s thought carefully and combine people’s ideas. They should practice the unifying that Mao said.” “Revolutionary committee is created in two levels, two ways and two routes. We should clearly that after establish the revolutionary committee, class struggle isn’t stop. Some renegades and special agents are unreconciled after they lose the political power. They may use other methods and try to damage proletarian political power. Focus on this problem; we still should use the Mao’s unifying method.“ “Centralized leadership means Mao’s leading. It is not wired when there are many problems in the revolutionary rank. The most important question is that whether the conflict is between enemy and me, or between our people. Because there are some people always want to mix those conflicts and make some chaos. We should recognize their trick. All the people working in revolutionary committee should use Mao Zedong’s thought. If they do the things that breach the Mao’s thought, they should criticize by themselves.” “We should follow Mao’s teaching, combine all powers and withstand enemy.” “We should insist Mao’s leading, focus the people who is counterrevolutionary thinking; we should pay attention to the policy, educating them rather than attack them. After they know their fault, we should liberate them as soon as possible.”, April, 1976
