August 30, 1970 Hispano Rally Erupts by Lee Margulies: A Mexican-American antiwar rally in East Los Angeles erupted in violence when looting nearby led to a riot lasting four hours (4 copies).

August 1970 Chicanos Released On Bond: A justice spokesman announced the Gonzales, Gurule, and others were released at midnight.

September 6, 1970 Gurule Blames L.A Police For Sparking Chicano Riot: Gurule returned to Pueblo and told his version of the riot at a press conference.

November 13, 1970 Gurule, Gonzales Show Up Late For Court Date: Gurule and Gonzales got lost in the Municipal Court building but were eventually guided to the right chamber. The warrant for thier arrest was retracted after they were located.
