1970 The Program of El Plan Espiritual de Aztlan: This packet contains their goals, purpose, actions, resolutions, a petition to oppose the war in Vietnam and support the National Chicano Moratorium, Chicano Conference Politics Workshop by Liz Montoya 3/26/70, letter to the nation of Aztlan, Los Artistas de Aztlan workshop details, community control details, economic workshop report, letter to Chairman Jugh Burns annoucing the creation of La Raza Unida Independent Political Party, boycott support, and political prisoners ( 2 copies).
1971 La Raza party call by Denver Chicano meet by Juan Lopez and Sam Kushner: At the third annual Natl. Chicano Conference a new party "El Plan Espiritual de Aztlan" emerged. Gurule said the new party would strengthen the Chicano liveration movement.
March 30, unknown year Chicanos Organize New Political Party: Young Spanish-Americans call for a new nation to e called Aztlan. This is different from "El Plan Espiritual de Aztlan" as Spanish-American accused the two party system of holding a double standard for the Spanish-American population.
