July 18, 1976 Rivera Challenged - to the editor: A coalition made by concerned residents, health consumers, and constituents of district 2 are extremely disconcerted over the negative effects on the community at large, by Dr. Rivera. This is paperclipped to its continuation.
August 6, 1980 Avondale unit plans to discuss action by Rivera by John A. Salas: a special meeting of Avondale Advisory Council, an arm of the Pueblo Neighborhood Health Centers (PNHC) board of directors is scheduled to discuss the council's latest grievances against Dr. Richard Rivera.
August 14, 1980 Centers' board sets next session in Avondale: The meeting has been move to Avondale so that the community gets a chance to express their concerns to the full board.
February 22, 1981 Dr. Rivera should resign: PNHC are facing a crisis after their request for 2 million federal grant was denied for 1981 and their current budget ends on March 30. Rivera is asked to step down so that they community can recieve benefits.
