Abstract

The collection consists of audio and video interviews in both digital and analog formats.  Also includes indexes and transcripts of some interviews.

Scope and Contents of the Materials

The collection consists of audio and video interviews with Chicana/o activists, La Cucaracha staff, Latino veterans, TeacherCorps participants, Cinco de Mayo visitors, and El Movimiento Panel Discussions (El Pueblo Museum) and Italian-Americans.  It also includes student produced documentaries using portions of the Latino veterans' interviews.  Supporting materials were also donated by some of the veterans.  In addition to the interviews, there are also indexes or transcripts of some of the interviews.

Biographical Note

The interviews were conducted by students from Chicano Studies 420, Voices of Protest, under the direction of Dr. Fawn-Amber Montoya and Archivists Jay Trask and Beverly Allen.

Access Restrictions: There are no access restrictions on this collection.

Use Restrictions: Not all of the material in the collection is in the public domain. Researchers are responsible for addressing copyright issues.  Colorado State University-Pueblo University Archives holds copyright to the interviews, but not to the student-produced documentaries nor the supporting materials (documents, photographs donated by Latino veterans).
